HyperGen Inc. has a PeopleSoft Technical position available. 

Location:Roanoke, VA (Candidate must either live in this area or relocate to this area)

Duration:Direct Hire (Full-time)

Salary: DOE

HyperGen Inc. has been specializing in Information Technology Consultant/Recruitment Services and Integrated Software Solutions since 1992.  Our Remote Services division (located in Roanoke, VA) is seeking qualified candidates to provide Remote PeopleSoft services to our nationwide client base.  This position requires the candidate to be a self-starter who can function effectively alone as well as in a team setting.  In addition, the ideal candidate should be a knowledge seeker and possess a can-do attitude to any challenges thrown at them.  The projects that our Remote Services division typically engages in are on cutting edge technologies which makes this position ideal for candidates who enjoy demanding and interesting assignments.

 Education:          

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.

 Qualifications:

Creative problem solving skills

Ability to support and work effectively with team members, clients and individually.

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers.

2+ years of PeopleTools development, SQR, Crystal or experience with an Object Oriented Programming Language (i.e. Java, C++, DotNet). 

SQL experience with at least one major database platform MS SQL, Oracle or DB2 is required.

Microsoft Office, Visio and Projects

Microsoft Windows Server, Linux and/or Unix platforms

 Additional/Ideal Qualifications: 

HTML, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, SOA and/or other Web development technologies.

Database administration on Oracle, DB2 or Microsoft SQL Server platforms.

Installation, configuration and administration of PeopleSoft systems.

PeopleSoft Change Management technologies.

Experience writing Test Plans and scripts

ERP experience (HR, Financials, Supply Chain, CRM, Student Administration)
